Cleansing our soul begins with God Who sovereignly rules over all (Ps 103:19). From the figure we see that He initiates, oversees and receives all things (Rom 11:36). His sovereign rule of the universe operates through both control and permission (Eph 1:1, Acts 14:16). His purposes are ultimately for justice, mercy and preservation (Job 37:13).
God oversees the events of history. Things come either directly or indirectly from His hand into our lives. We will focus on five major elements which come from God:
