of Salvation |

|
God Desires a Relationship with
Us
|
-
God our Savior desires all to be saved
and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
|
-
For God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish,
but have eternal life (John 3:16)
|
We Have All Sinned Before God
|
-
For all have sinned and fall short of
the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
|
-
God's eyes are too pure to approve evil
and He can not look on wickedness with favor (Habakkuk 1:13).
|
-
God grants repentance leading to the knowledge
of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25).
|
Jesus Died for Our Sin
|
-
Christ died for our sins according to
the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3).
|
-
He Himself bore our sins in His body on
the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His
wounds you were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
|
Faith Is God's Gift (Just Say No
to Works)
|
-
Whoever wishes to save his life shall
lose it, but whoever loses his life for God's sake, he is the one who will
save it (Luke 9:23-25).
|
-
For by grace you have been saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result
of works, that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
