God Desires a Relationship with Us
God our Savior desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)
We Have All Sinned Before God
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
God's eyes are too pure to approve evil and He can not look on wickedness with favor (Habakkuk 1:13).
God grants repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25).
Jesus Died for Our Sin
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3).
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Faith Is God's Gift (Just Say No to Works)
Whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for God's sake, he is the one who will save it (Luke 9:23-25).
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
